A furious Cristiano Ronaldo refused to shake Erik ten Hag and doesn’t want to clap Man Utd fans after the defeat.
After refusing to greet fans after Manchester United’s 4-0 loss to Brentford, Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly exchanged words with assistant coach Steve McClaren. The video below shows Ronaldo entering the tunnel before any of his teammates.
At the Brentford Community Stadium, United was humiliated, and after the game, several players went to the opposing end to apologize.
Ronaldo attempted to storm off without speaking to anyone because he was obviously furious.
According to Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, McClaren asked Ronaldo to pay respect to the opposing fans by going to them.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner can be seen speaking with someone off camera before walking to the touchline in video that James Robson posted to social media.
The manager Erik ten Hag was then passed by Ronaldo without receiving a handshake.
The 37-year-future old’s has been a contentious issue all summer, and he is eager to move on from Old Trafford once more.

Ronaldo made it clear that he intended to leave the club after United’s failure to advance to the Champions League because he wants to participate in the event.
However, no bid has been submitted from Europe, and Saudi Arabia is the only country that has expressed real interest.
Following his transfer from Juventus, Ronaldo scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season.
After losing their first two games, United has fallen to the bottom of the league for the first time since August 1992.
Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez were all added to their team this summer, but they still require more.
Raphael Varane took Martinez’s place at halftime on Saturday after a miserable start to life in England.
Eriksen, however, was at fault for Brentford’s second goal after Mathias Jensen fouled him in his own box.
In a post-game interview with Sky Sports, Ten Hag stated: “We need new players and quality players.
“We’ll make an effort to persuade them to join.”
Adrien Rabiot, a midfielder for Juventus, is currently being negotiated by United, and they are still in talks with Barcelona about Frenkie de Jong.
