As the Manchester United £20M deal becomes closer, Adrien Rabiot’s mother lays out her transfer demands.
Adrien Rabiot’s transfer from Juventus to Manchester United is almost complete; the last step is to talk over the individual terms with the player’s agents.
This Monday, the two teams reached an agreement that is thought to be worth £15 million.
Veronique Rabiot, the player’s agent and mother, is proving to be a difficult client.
Veronique reportedly insisted on speaking with the team’s director of football, John Murtough, alone. She has made it clear that she won’t work with middlemen.
According to The Telegraph, no board member of United has currently spoken with Mrs. Rabiot directly, although this could change over the course of the next few days.
The Frenchman Rabiot has requested to leave Juventus as he enters the final year of his contract. Rabiot’s three-year time in Italy is about to come to an end, and the Turin club is willing to sell in order to avoid losing him for free the following summer.
The 27-year-old made his professional debut in 2012 after rising through the ranks at Paris Saint-school. Germain’s The midfielder left Paris for Turin in 2019 on a free transfer after 227 games and 224 goals.
Ten Hag added: “I analyse it and it was unnecessary. We gave too many easy balls away and the organisation was a big mistake.
“I looked into it, and it was unnecessary,” Ten Hag continued. We made a serious organizational error and threw away far too many easy balls.
We made it obvious how to handle particular scenarios when we drop in, so it wasn’t as bad as we made it out to be. But when that does, we need to analyze it and learn from it.
Along with Rabiot, the Red Devils are allegedly interested in signing Marko Arnautovic of Bologna and Sergej Milinkovic Savic of Lazio, a Serbian international midfielder.
