Barca failed to extend Depay’s contract after talks with his agent on Monday morning and they are open to selling for €20M.
Memphis Depay is one of the Barcelona top performers under the management of Ronald Koeman and he hits the ground in his first season at the club.
He is very happy at Barcelona and he want to stay at the club, regardless of the possible arrival of Robert Lewandowski, as the deal is looking likely.
His advisors met with the Barcelona board on Monday, but there’s no advanced discussion to extend his contract yet.

Memphis Depay’s current contract with the club will expire on June 23 and he will leave as a free agent.

As of today, Barcelona are open to all options and they are ready to offload the Dutch forward this summer, per Fabrizio Romano.
Barcelona would be open to selling for a transfer fee worth around €20M, due to the current economic situation.
The player is currently on vacation in Ghana and he want to continue at Barcelona as he is happy with the project.
