Barca Squad List: Ferran Torres got a new jersey number as Xavi confirmed his squad for the Joan Gamper trophy.

Barcelona will face Pumas in the Joan Gamper trophy tomorrow and Xavi Hernandez has confirmed his squad ahead of the game.

Ferran Torres has changer his shirt number ahead of the new season. The Spanish winger was named in the squad that will face Pumas tomorrow night.

There will undoubtedly be a significant change in jersey numbers before the new season after no less than six elite athletes moved to Barcelona last month.

The number nine shirt, which apparently came with Robert Lewandowski’s personal contract with the club, has already been given to the club’s star signing.

Ferran Torres has received the #11 uniform from Barcelona in yet another well-publicized change. The official website of La Liga has confirmed this, listing the Spaniard as donning the renowned uniform that was last worn by Adama Traore.

The dynamic forward had signed a short-term loan agreement with Barcelona in July. The forward had a promising start to his return to Camp Nou, but was unable to capitalize on it and was unable to score even a single goal.

When Adama was released in the summer, Ferran Torres was able to don the renowned #11 jersey, which had previously been worn by players like Ousmane Dembele and Neymar.

When Raphinha joined from Leeds United in the summer, many people anticipated that he would continue that pattern. However, the Brazilian is expected to stick with the #22 jersey he wore at Elland Road last year.

Other major kit changes in the Barcelona squad include Pedri wearing the #8 kit after developing into a creative lynchpin in the Barcelona midfield, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang switches to his preferred #17 kit.

However, it is unclear what Memphis Depay’s future may hold. The Dutchman has given Robert Lewandowski his #9 jersey, and given Juventus’ interest, there is a chance he might even depart Camp Nou.
