Barcelona and Inter Milan reached an agreement for the signing of Jordi Alba, as Marcos Alonso set for a move.
According to a stunning event, Jordi Alba’s loan deal between Barcelona and Inter Milan has apparently been finalized, according to Gerard Romero.
The 33-year-old is one of the most seasoned players at Camp Nou and is revered by the supporters for his ten years of dedication. But this year, the left-back has lost ground to rising star Alejandro Balde in the competition.
Due to the manager Xavi Hernandez’s dissatisfaction with his performance against Rayo Vallecano on the first day of the season, Balde will now start the next two league games.
And earlier this week, it was rumoured that the manager would be willing to transfer Alba in the event that Barcelona succeeded in acquiring Marcos Alonso from Chelsea.
And it appears that the Blaugrana have made the decision to approve Alba’s departure before the deadline for summer transfers.
Romero claims that Barcelona and Inter Milan have already agreed on a loan arrangement for the Spanish international. The agreement stated that the Serie A powerhouses would pay the remaining 40% of his salary, with the Catalan titans covering 60% of it.
The player’s approval is still required in order to execute the transfer. Alba has been a consistent member of Barcelona’s starting lineup for the previous ten years, so this news will come as a great shock.
However, the way things stand, the seasoned defender might depart on the deadline day, providing the Blaugrana with the opportunity to sign Alonso and perhaps even Bernardo Silva.
