Barcelona are interested in signing 21-year-old Serie A right-back amid Roberto future uncertain.
At this moment, it appears certain that Barcelona will look to add a new right-back during the summer 2019 transfer window.
Sergi Roberto’s contract is about to expire, and it is unlikely to be renewed. A contract extension for Hector Bellerin, whose deal also ends in 2023, will be based on how well he performs this season.
In either case, Barcelona will require at least one new right-back before the following campaign. It has generated connections with a number of well-known figures from around Europe, including Arnau Martinez of Girona, Vanderson of AS Monaco, and Diogo Dalot of Manchester United.
Now, SPORT claims that Barça are also keeping an eye on Torino defender Wilfried Singo, adding another name to their list of potential right-back candidates.

Despite his youth, the 21-year-old full-back has developed into one of the more dependable players in the Italian top division after joining the Serie A team in January 2019. He has made 80 appearances for Torino thus far, contributing to five goals scored and eight goals assisted.
Singo, a young right-back with great promise, physical strength, and attacking desire, will see his contract expire at the conclusion of the current season. Torino does have the option, which they are expected to exercise, of extending it by a further year.
Even so, Barcelona should take into account the young Ivorian as a good market potential.
This season, Jules Kounde has served as Xavi’s primary right-back option. The Frenchman has performed admirably, but he has made it clear that his natural position is center back, where he would like to play.
If the Blaugrana do not renew either of their current options, this, together with Bellerin and Roberto’s contractual statuses, raises the prospect of two right backs joining Spotify Camp Nou.
It will be interesting to see if they are sincere in their interest in Singo or if they are just making up names for him.
