Barcelona new signing Hector Bellerin is expected to miss the next game through injury.
Barcelona has released an official statement confirming that Hector Bellerin has actually suffered an injury. The news of the defender’s injury first surfaced minutes ago.
The 27-year-old right-back, who only recently signed with Barcelona in the summer, was one of the few players who did not receive an international call-up during the current two-week window.
Bellerin would have been in line to start for the Blaugrana when they play RCD Mallorca later this weekend, but Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, and Sergi Roberto are all out with injuries, and Bellerin is still not fully recovered.
The club has since revealed that the former Arsenal star has a leg issue, raising doubts over his participation.

According to the statement, Bellerin will have tests tomorrow to ascertain the severity of his injuries and the likely length of his rehabilitation period.
Hector Bellerin reported having issues with the soleus in his left leg during the training session on Tuesday morning. To ascertain the full degree of the issue, the defender will undergo a number of tests on Wednesday.
Since his free transfer arrival on the day of the transfer deadline, Bellerin has not played in many games. The forthcoming slate of games would have helped him find his rhythm, especially with Kounde and Araujo out injured.
The former La Masia ace, however, might soon find himself in need of some medical attention. Once the physicians have examined him on Wednesday, further information will become available.
