Barcelona revealed next target after Jules Kounde ‘s signing, with personal terms agreed with the French sensation.
It is widely known that Barcelona is actively searching for a new defender. In a recent news conference, club president Joan Laporta acknowledged as much, with all indications suggesting a move for Jules Kounde.
The Sevilla prodigy is without a doubt Xavi’s top defensive target as he seeks to strengthen his back-up options. Even though Chelsea is also interested in the Frenchman, Barcelona now seems to be the front-runner in the battle to capture him.
If Kounde ends up signing with the Catalans this summer, it would be reasonable to assume that Barcelona’s transfer activities will come to a halt.
However, Fabrizio Romano disclosed on his Here We Go show that Barcelona has no immediate intentions to end its rampage.

Following the completion of Kounde’s deal, the club will probably pursue Bernardo Silva. It is widely known that the Manchester City star is one of Hernandez Xavi’s favorite players and that the Barça coach wants to replace Frenkie de Jong with him immediately.
With Manchester United boosting up their efforts and the Dutchman (Frenkie De Jong) under intense pressure from the club to leave Camp Nou, it would not be surprising to see him leave Catalonia.
Xavi has consistently stated how highly he values de Jong and that if he were to let him go this summer, he would want a player of a comparable caliber. Bernardo Silva is a good match because he has shown to be Man City’s creative lynchpin in previous years.
The Portuguese international is also tactically compatible with Xavi’s setup because he can play alongside Pedri in the interior role while Sergio Busquets holds down the fort in the number six position. This effectively enables Xavi to recreate the coveted midfield trio from his Barcelona days, which included himself, Iniesta, and Sergio Busquets.
De Jong would have to leave Barcelona for any deal to go through, and if Bernardo Silva is to be signed, the club may also need to use the third economic lever because Man City is asking for €100 million for him.
