BREAKING: Pablo Gavi has signed a new contract until 2026 with Barcelona, as his release clause raised.
Finally, the statement has been made. Gavi, a star midfielder for Barcelona, just agreed to a new deal that will keep him at Camp Nou through the summer of 2026.
Last season saw the 18-year-old prodigy burst into the scene, and since then, he has developed into one of the essential parts of Barcelona’s midfield.
He has played for the Blaugrana in 54 games so far, contributing six assists and two goals. He is now a consistent player for Spain’s national team.
At the conclusion of the current campaign, Gavi’s prior contract was ready to expire. Clubs all around Europe were quite interested in him as a result of that. The young prodigy, though, had always preferred to remain in Barcelona.

Although it took some time to negotiate, a deal had been reached for some time. Gavi’s new four-year deal, which will keep him with the team through 2026, has now been officially announced by Barcelona.
Gavi’s new contract has a sizable €1 billion release clause, much like it did with companies like Pedri and Ansu Fati.
The contract signing event is scheduled to take place on Thursday at Spotify Camp Nou, during which both Gavi and club president Joan Laporta will speak. With the official announcement out of the way.
The fourth-youngest player in Barça history, Gavi has been with the club since 2015 and made his first-team debut at the age of just 17 years and 24 days. The young sensation has a promising future at the club.
