BREAKING: Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea signed Arsenal sensation Hutchinson this summer and he will wear the famous number 7 shirt.
Omari Hutchinson, who began his career at Chelsea’s academy, has announced via Instagram that he is moving from Arsenal to Chelsea. It follows a standout campaign with Arsenal’s Under-23 team.
Hutchinson, 18, started out in the Chelsea system before spending two years at Charlton. He later joined Arsenal in 2015 at the Under-12 level, where he has remained for the past seven years while nearly making his senior debut.
He participated in 21 games for the club’s reserves last year, making eight goals and contributing to another seven. Chelsea has taken notice of that form since it came at the age of 18, which is undoubtedly ahead of the curve.
Hutchison, an England Under-19 international, has just received a call-up from Jamaica. Hutchison had a great season, and now it’s even better because he’s joining Chelsea’s Under-21 team. After the action, he shared on Instagram.
Hutchinson announced Chelsea’s Departure from Arsenal
Hutchinson no longer has a great chance of making Thomas Tuchel’s starting lineup. Hutchinson did not start for Arsenal last year, despite that. At Stamford Bridge, the rivalry is fierce in the attacking zones.
A number of players, including Raheem Sterling, Ross Barkley, Kai Havertz, and Callum Hudson-Odoi, will be seated in front. But maybe winning for the 23s will give him a chance to play in the Carabao Cup. Either that, or he takes a loan.
In either case, Hutchison will be trying to stand out this season and get Thomas Tuchel’s attention. If he does well with the 21s or while away on loan, he may break into the senior team during the following few seasons.
The English youngster is a huge talent and he believe that he will make a breakthrough under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea as he couldn’t get an opportunity to prove himself in the first team at Arsenal.
