Bruno Fernandes has chosen the number 8 shirt ahead of the new season, the Portuguese midfielder wore the same 8 at Sporting CP, before he joined Manchester United.
When he arrived, Juan Mata couldn’t handle him the famous shirt number and he had to wait for years, before inheriting the 8 from the Spanish veteran.
Pedri Gonzalez is regarded as the next Iniesta due to his style of play and everything about him on the pitch.
The Spanish youngster, who won the golden boy award, took the number 16 shirt when he joined Barcelona, but after an improved seasons at the club, he has decided to switch to a new shirt number.
Miralem Pjanic wore the famous shirt number when he joined Barcelona, but he spent last season on loan at the Turkish League, after his relationship with Koeman split.
Pjanic couldn’t take the same shirt number despite that he returned back to the club after his loan spell, he is likely to leave permanently.
Pedri Gonzalez is the new Barcelona number 8 and he will be looking forward to the new season.
