Carlos Soler to Barcelona could be done in the coming weeks after leaked audio of Valencia president emerged on social media today.
The Spanish midfielder has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer and he told the club earlier this season.
The Valencia president is ruling out a move to Barcelona as he doesn’t want the Spanish star to join the club as a free agent.
He wants the deal to go through in the right way and both parties will respect themselves.

Valencia President Anil Murthy in a leaked audio chat via [superdeporte_es] on Carlos Soler [linked to Barcelona].
“Soler told me at the start of the season that he wanted to leave. If he leaves for free I’ll kill him in the media, pay €100K to the press to attack him.”
Anil Murthy continues
“Soler has to bring in money because he has grown up in the academy and the club [Valencia] has invested a lot of money in him.”
Carlos Soler to Barcelona
“Soler has been clear since the beginning of this year that he is leaving because he has a lot of ambition. He wants to go. Carlos has been clear about it since the beginning of the season. You have to respect it.”
“They have too much pressure. Carlos has his wife and his parents, relatives, the last thing he wants is to go wrong. He wants to go out on good terms. He wants his family to be well here and I totally respect him but ‘bring me an offer!'”
