Chelsea are getting closer to signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe and Nathan Ake, after completing the Koulibaly deal.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea are in negotiations with PSG about signing Presnel Kimpembe.
The French champions are thought to be willing to approve the sale of 26-year-old if their price is fulfilled.
So far, that has not occurred, but conversations are ongoing as Chelsea seeks a major target for the left center-back position.
Juventus is also interested in signing the France international and has made touch with Paris Saint-Germain, due to the uncertainty of Mathias De Ligt future.
Kimpembe has progressed through the ranks at PSG, appearing in 151 Ligue 1 games.
Chelsea are aiming to bolster their defense, having already agreed to buy Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli and hoping to add Nathan Ake from Manchester City.
Presnel Kimpembe is free to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. He isn’t out of the project, but his future is dependent on the suggestions, which is why fresh contract negotiations are stalled, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Paris Saint-Germain in the other hand is working on a deal to sign Skriniar, with their first offer + a player was turned down.
“I’m in love with Paris Saint-Germain,” says Presnel Kimpembe on his future plans. It’s a pivotal point in my career; I’ll be discussing the idea with the board.”
Kimpembe work together with Thomas Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain and he is one of the most important players under the German manager.
The Blues missed out on Jules Kounde, who his main priority is Barcelona, as reported.
Kimpembe is not ruling out a move to Chelsea and he would love to reunite with his manager this summer.
Chelsea has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Nathan Ake, after completing the signing of Raheem Sterling.
Key week ahead for the two deals, as Thomas Tuchel want it done before the end of the month.
