Chelsea 'will rival Real Madrid

Chelsea ‘will rival Real Madrid and Barcelona for Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, as he is set for a move away next summer.

According to rumors, Chelsea has entered the competition to recruit 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Endrick from Palmeiras.

The west London club is reportedly interested in competing with Real Madrid and Barcelona for the teenager as it looks to rehabilitate under manager Thomas Tuchel with the help of new investors led by Todd Boehly.

The athlete and his family approved of Chelsea’s offer, according to Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola, who spoke with Spanish daily Diario AS.

Endrick has not yet committed to playing for Palmeiras in the Copa Libertadores, although he is rumored to be considering moving to Europe.

Due to Brexit restrictions, Chelsea would have to lease him out until he was 18 if they were to defeat Real Madrid and Barcelona for his services.

Particularly in recent years, Real Madrid and Barcelona have made it obvious that they do not relish passing up the next major talent to come out of South America.

Real Madrid wanted to compete with Barcelona, so they signed Vinicius Junior, who scored the game-winning goal in this year’s Champions League final, in an effort to do so.

Gabriel Jesus, a center forward for Arsenal, is claimed to have been a target of both clubs when he first transferred from Palmeiras to Manchester City.

Endrick’s pursuit by top European teams appears to be another example of their race to the bottom in search of the region’s next-best athletes.

Endrick is reported to have earned the moniker “wonder boy of Palmeiras” because of his incredible goal-scoring prowess for the different youth teams he has represented.

Endrick would be the latest in an interesting succession of Brazilians to fill in for the team if he were to sign with Chelsea. Kennedy and Thiago Silva are current members of the team, while other prominent former citizens include Alex, Ramires David Luiz, Oscar, and Willian.
