Cristiano Ronaldo’s reaction to Youssef En-Nesyri’s goal against Portugal stir reaction.
Youssef En-spectacular Nesyri’s header gave Morocco the lead against Portugal in this afternoon’s World Cup quarterfinal.
With barely minutes remaining, a very dull first half erupted into life, propelling Walid Regragui’s team halfway to history.
Yahia Attiyat Allah whipped in a cross following some great buildup play on the left side that appeared easy enough for Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa to claim.
En-Nesyri defying the laws of physics with a leap right out of Cristiano Ronaldo’s playbook was something he had not anticipated.
The Sevilla striker, who has just two goals in 27 La Liga games, tipped in his header after getting past Ruben Dias and Costa to erupt the Al Thumama Stadium.
Cameras then panned to the other bench, which once again included Ronaldo. Even he appeared to be impressed by En-Nesyri’s work.
Ronaldo's reaction says it all 😳

At this competition, Morocco has only given up one goal, an own goal against Canada in their last group match.
Despite having a few chances themselves, they were able to frustrate Fernando Santos’ team.
Joao Felix had a header saved and saw a shot deflect wide, while Bruno Fernandes hit the bar with a spectacular effort.
Santos made the bold call to leave Ronaldo on the bench once again after his replacement, Goncalo Ramos, scored a hat-trick in Tuesday’s 6-1 win over Switzerland.
