Barcelona did really well tonight, but they couldn’t get a win in the El Clasico. They are things learnt from the Real Madrid victory over Barcelona and we’ll like to share with you.
Real Madrid took the early lead before the 30 minutes of the game, but Luuk De Jong came through before the first half whistle. Barcelona dominated the game and they played with high intensity, but they couldn’t get the result they wanted.
1. Federico Valverde Recreate Cristiano Ronaldo’s Celebration
Real Madrid took the lead for the second time in the second half, but Ansu Fati came from the bench to level the game. Barcelona and Real Madrid went to the extra time, but Federico Valverde made it easy for his team.
The Uruguayan midfielder scored a lovely goal in the El Clasico and he decided to take his shirt off. We all understand that feeling when you scored a late goal. The most interesting thing is that the goal came against Barcelona in the El Clasico.
Looking at the picture below, you could see that Gerard Pique is looking at him while he was celebrating. A Similar incident occurred in the Spanish Super Cup, when Cristiano Ronaldo is still playing for Real Madrid.
The Portuguese forward scored a rocket from outside the box and he took his shirt off to celebrate in front of the fans.
2. Real Madrid’s Fifth Consecutive Victory Over Barcelona
Barcelona has failed to win Real Madrid in their last 5 meetings, including in the La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup. Real Madrid defeated Barcelona in the La Liga this season, though Ronald Koeman was in charge of the club by then.
The El Clasico has changed a lot, since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez and Leisure Suarez. These players always gave their all for the team. Real Madrid easily defeats Barcelona and they have done it in the last 5 games.
3. Ferran Torres Made His Debut For Barcelona Against Real Madrid
Ferran Torres made his debut for Barcelona against Real Madrid tonight, but it’s not one to remember as he started with a defeat. Xavi Hernandez decided to start the Spanish youngster and he played only 45 minutes.
Xavi Hernandez took him off in the second half, but he could start the next La Liga game. Ferran Torres just came into the team and he needs more time to adapt to Xavi Hernandez’s tactics.
Dani Alves also made his second El Clasico debut tonight. He started the game from the right hand flank, he played his part tonight. The Barcelona legend did really well against Real Madrid, but he couldn’t get a goal or register an assist.
Barcelona will come back to their best because most of the star players are back from the injury they suffered. Ansu Fati and Pedri Gonzalez are all available for selection in the next La Liga game. These are the things learnt from the game.
