England squad announcement – Gareth Southgate revealed his England squad ahead of the game against Ivory Coast and Switzerland.
The three lions manager has snubbed Manchester United duo Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford ahead of the Friendly games.
England has already booked their place in the world cup 2022 and the three lions will face Ivory Coast and Switzerland in a friendly game this month.
With the players going on international duty, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford will continue to work hard ahead of the world cup 2022.
Gareth Southgate handled Marc Guehi his first England call-up to the first team and it’s a dream come true for him.
He has done extremely well at Crystal Palace and I believe that it’s a well deserved call-up. Though he will not be playing an official game as of now.
If he continues with the good performance in the league, he will be included in the world cup 202.
England Squad Announcement
Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale, Nick Pope.
Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Harry Maguire, Reece James, Conor Coady, Marc Guehi, Luke Shaw, Tyrone Mings, John Stones, Ben White.
Midfielders: Jordan Henderson, Jude Bellingham, Mason Mount, Conor Gallagher, James Ward-Prows, Declan Rice.
Forwards: Tammy Abraham, Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Bukayo Saka, Raheem Sterling, Emile Smith Rowe.
Jadon Sancho Snubbed despite his performances
Jadon Sancho has stepped up his game since the departure of Ole Gunnar and I believe that he deserves to be in the squad.
The Manchester United youngster scored on his return to the Etihad Stadium this month.
It’s not something to worry too much about because it’s a friendly game, but it seems like a wrong decision making by Gareth Southgate.
Marcus Rashford is currently not at his best shape and he could be back during the world cup. He is a top guy with a very bright future.
