Disgraceful scenes of many street altercations are captured on tape.
Following a decisive 6-2 victory against Iran to start their campaign, England struggled against the USA, drawing 0-0.
At the final whistle, there were several jeers from the crowd as Gareth Southgate addressed them.
He asked this question after the game: “Were we jeered off though? I doubt that was directed at us. I’m not sure. I appreciate how the guys have applied themselves. Finding the same enthusiasm and quality after the high of the previous performance was always going to be difficult.
“Of course, I want our fans to go home satisfied and have a grin on their faces at home,” he continued.
“That is something we haven’t quite accomplished today. However, individuals will respond as they normally do.”
