The stunning assist Lionel Messi gave Neymar in Paris Saint-Ligue Germain’s 1 debut against Clermont Foot is widely believed to have been “intentional” by fans.
In the ninth minute of their match on Saturday, Messi somehow set up Neymar to score. He spent no time in making an impact on the game.

Messi received a pass from Pablo Sarabia, who expertly flicked the ball behind him with his weaker right foot.
He appeared to assist his Brazilian teammate in passing the ball so that he could score with a low drive.
Messi’s ball to Neymar was it intended? Fans online seem to agree, though.
A tweet read: “He did intend to touch her, didn’t he? It’s quite amazing, and you can tell that he’s doing it on purpose from the way he’s staring behind him.”
“Messi meant that and no one is telling me otherwise,” another person wrote.
What an assist, said a third.
