Federico Valverde’s shot against Rayo Vallecano ended up on the Balcony of someone’s apartment.
Federico Valverde, a Real Madrid midfielder, hit a ball against Rayo Vallecano so high over the crossbar that it landed on a balcony of an apartment.
Los Blancos lost their first league game of the season on Monday night after a strong start to the La Liga season.
Santi Comesana, Alvaro Rivera, and Oscar Trejo’s goals gave Andoni Iraola’s tenacious Vallecano team a historic victory, and the fans at the Estadio de Vallecas were ecstatic when referee Juan Martnez Munuera blew the final whistle.
In fact, a small group of spectators outside the 14,000-seat stadium were celebrating not only the three points but also the matchball. The video of that hilarious incident is shown below.

Three boys were watching from a balcony of a residential building when Valverde, who has been in sensational form this season, couldn’t control his effort and scored four goals in his final games for Madrid.
Despite his efforts, the 24-year-old Uruguayan international was clearly disappointed, but those on the balcony looked happy to have won the prize.
After about an hour, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was less than pleased with his team’s performance against Rayo Vallecano, who are currently ranked eighth in La Liga.
He told reporters, “We lacked the rival’s tenacity, lost individual duels, and could not get our play going. We’ve played more games than most teams, and as a result, we’re not as fresh as we once were. Today, we lacked legs.
“I think the players were focused and gave it their all,” he continued.
Luka Modric and Eder Militao’s goals gave Los Blancos a brief 2-1 lead. But in the second half, they appeared worn out, and Vallecano pounced.
Valverde’s errant effort on Monday won’t worry Ancelotti too much. The Italian joked earlier in the season that he should hang up his boots if he can’t get the midfielder to score more than 10 goals.
He declared, “I made a bet, but I believe he’ll score more than 10 goals this season.” “I get to keep my coaching license if he scores four more! He never ceases to amaze us. He performs admirably in midfield or on the wings.
There aren’t any other wagers besides those on Valverde, according to Ancelotti. I found it strange that he only scored one goal last year despite having such a good shot. He exudes a lot of confidence, so it makes sense that he makes so many baskets from unusual angles.
“His shooting is incredible; it’s almost on par with Asensio’s. He is playing at a good level, and increasing the bet would put my card at serious risk. I’ll keep it to just ten. Everybody is delighted for Federico. He is a decent man.
