Footage shows Lionel Messi

Footage shows Lionel Messi was the only player to have ‘GOAT’ on the sleeve of PSG training top.

Since he was the sole player wearing the message on his Paris Saint-Germain warm-up shirt on Tuesday night, Lionel Messi’s status as the “GOAT” has been established.

The new sleeve sponsor for PSG is “GOAT,” a shoe marketplace launched in 2015 that is akin to Stock X.

They officially joined PSG in April, and their relationship strengthened when they were promoted to “primary partner” in July.

On the sleeves of kits, training shirts, and other match-related clothing, the company’s emblem can be seen, along with the motto “the global platform for the past, present, and future.”

The agreement has a three-year value of €50 million, according to the French daily L’Equipe.

But of of all the PSG players, only seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi wore GOAT on his sleeve prior to Juventus’ victory.

Where Messi had the logo printed, the other players, including Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, just had a blank spot.

All of the players wore GOAT on their sleeves during the real game, but Messi’s warm-up jersey seems to be an exception.

Messi was a part of the partnership’s formal photo session and is very certainly a major driving force behind it.

Messi participated in one of the most famous photo shootings in history in 2018, posing with a real goat for Paper Magazine.

He was the magazine’s cover model for June, and Carles Carab’s photographs for the article were stunning.

Mbappe’s two goals in the first half helped PSG defeat Juventus 2-1; Weston McKennie’s goal early in the second half gave the visitors a chance to tie the game.

Sergio Ramos and Leandro Paredes, who were teammates before the Argentine midfielder joined Juve on loan a week ago, got into a fantastic fight during the game.

Following a foul on Mbappe in the first half, Ramos grabbed the former Roma player by the throat and was given a warning by referee Anthony Taylor.
