Former Real Madrid defender could persuade Kylian Mbappe to sign for Manchester United as Ronald replacement.
Raphael Varane has already given Kylian Mbappe some advice. Mbappe has recently been mentioned as a potential Cristiano Ronaldo replacement at Manchester United.
Since Marca reported that the French giants had agreed to “collaborate” over his exit – under certain conditions — rumors regarding the PSG star’s future have been circulating over the past few weeks.
Additionally, it looks very likely that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave the team soon after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan, which will air on TalkTV this Wednesday and Thursday.
Ronaldo shouldn’t play for the club again, United manager Erik ten Hag reportedly told club executives.
Due to this, the club has started looking for a replacement for the 37-year-old, with Mbappe reportedly being one of their top targets, according to the Daily Mirror.
They claim that United, one of the few clubs in all of football, would be able to match his £500,000-per-week salary.
And as rumors circulate, Varane, a star for United, has repeated earlier remarks.
Varane’s future remarks regarding Mbappe
Prior to France’s Nations League semi-final match against Belgium in October 2021, Varane was questioned about Mbappe’s future. He may help persuade his international teammate to move to Old Trafford.
At the time, the Frenchman was still frequently associated with Varane’s old team, Real Madrid.
On the final day of the transfer window in August 2021, PSG turned down a sizable €220 million offer from Real, which, behind Neymar, would have made the player the second-most expensive player in history.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s team was unable to close the deal in January, and Mbappe went on to agree to a massive new contract with PSG before the summer transfer window.
Varane said to reporters at the time: “He makes the decisions. He is mature enough to pick who he wants in his inner circle.
He is standing with his head held high. He is aware of his goals. I’m not supposed to give him advice.
Mbappe may have a difficult choice to make, though it will undoubtedly be much simpler if United do not make it into the Champions League next season and if they do make a serious offer for his services.
