Gavi will be registered as a Barca B player as Xavi Hernandez confirmed plans for Spanish midfield talent Pablo Torre, ahead of the new season.
According to Sport, Pablo Gavi, Alex Balde and Abde will be registered as a Barca Athletic player and not first team stars.
The club are still working on registering the new signings ahead of the new season, with the league starting on Saturday. It was reported that Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen are eligible to leave as a free agent if the club fail to register them.
Joan Laporta assured the players that they are going to be registered before the first game on Saturday and they are calm.
Plans for Pablo Torre
Pablo Torre will mostly play for Barça Atlètic this season. The club want him to accumulate as many as minutes possible to continue his development. He will be with the first team whenever there is a chance to play, according to bonagerman.
Although Gavi, a prominent member of Barcelona’s academy, has informed the team he won’t be renewing his contract if Bernardo Silva is signed, the club still has a strong interest in the player.
If Bernardo is signed, Gavi will be worried about playing time and is seriously thinking about not renewing his contract with the club, as he has offers from top European clubs.
If Frenkie De Jong may leave the team, Barcelona is predicted to make a bid for Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva this summer.
According to Beteve in Spain, Gavi has informed Barcelona that if they sign Bernardo Silva this summer, he won’t be renewing his contract. The Spanish midfield talent celebrated his 18th birthday this month and he is eligible to sign a five-year deal.
Let’s see what happens in the coming days, if Barcelona will be able to sort out everything, including the future of Frenkie De Jong.
