Jude Bellingham is Erik Ten Hag’s first choice target as Real Madrid faced fresh Man Utd battle for €150m star.
Jude Bellingham’s future has recently been the subject of a lot of chatter. Real Madrid and other clubs in Europe are now interested in the midfielder for Borussia Dortmund.
The Englishman is being sought after by the defending European champions as a potential long-term replacement for Luka Modric, whose contract with the organization expires at the conclusion of the current campaign.
However, Real Madrid will have a difficult time luring Bellingham away from Dortmund. The Spanish powerhouses are up against stiff opposition from teams like Manchester City, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain.
And according to reports from Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United is also now keeping an eye on the midfielder. The Premier League powerhouses have made the Dortmund starlet their top target for 2023, with Erik ten Hag being especially interested in his services.
When Bellingham was playing for Birmingham City, Manchester United was on the verge of signing him. Even though the youngster was given a tour of the stadium, the move never happened because the 19-year-old decided to go to Dortmund instead.
Since then, the child has become an overnight sensation and is now regarded as one of the most talented young athletes in the world.
Manchester United is determined to sign Bellingham in the upcoming summer despite missing out on the opportunity two years ago. The likelihood of them snagging Bellingham, though, is still slim, mostly because of competition from other clubs.
Bellingham is being pursued by teams like Real Madrid and Liverpool, who may spend big money on him in 2023.
It will be interesting to see if the Whites can win the race ahead of cash cows like Man City and PSG, as the midfielder is probably going to cost €150 million.
