Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr contribute for an amazing goal against Juventus, as Paris Saint-Germain took the early lead.

In the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain has jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead over Juventus. Kylian Mbappe and Neymar played beautifully to set up PSG’s first goal.

For the first time since 1997, the two teams are facing off at the Parc des Princes, and it only took PSG five minutes to seize control of the match.

Adrien Rabiot of Juventus was able to get the ball out wide before passing it to Neymar and moving away from him.

Before scooping a pass over the top for Mbappe and sending it in with a powerful right-footed volley, Neymar took two touches. Just motion poetry, that’s all.

The 23-year-old celebrated by turning around and pointing at Neymar before leaping into Nuno Mendes’ arms at full-back.

As a result of their reactions, fans believe that the combination is currently the deadliest in international football.

This Neymar/Mbappe combination isn’t fair, one individual said.

“Neymar has ice in his veins,” a second remarked.

“Juventus can’t handle these two,” someone said.

Another tweeted: “Something hits different about these two when they’re in action together,” and a fourth added: ”

22 minutes in, Mbappe added his score by converting an Achraf Hakimi cutback.

Prior to then, Juventus’ greatest opportunity of the contest came from Arkadiusz Milik.

Milik’s header from a wonderful cross by Juan Cuadrado pushed goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to make a quick save. Dusan Vlahovic, my strike partner, was unable to capitalize on the rebound.

At the end of the previous season, Mbappe signed a lucrative contract to stay at PSG, defying popular belief that he would be going Real Madrid.

Since the World Cup champion was regarded as such a significant asset to his home country, Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, personally called Mbappe to become involved in the controversy.

He added to the New York Times of the call he received from the politician: “I never anticipated I was going to talk with the president about my future, about my future in my job, so it’s something strange, truly something wild.”

“I want you to stay; you are so vital for the country, I don’t want you to leave now,” he said.

Mbappe signed a lucrative contract to remain at PSG at the end of last season, despite many believing he’d be joining Real Madrid.

The World Cup winner was considered such a valuable asset to his home nation, France president Emmanuel Macron personally called Mbappe to get involved in the saga.

He told the New York Times: “I never imagined I was going to talk with the president about my future, about my future in my career, so it’s something crazy, really something crazy,” he said of the call he received from the politician.

“He told me ‘I want you to stay, I don’t want you to leave now as you are so important for the country’.

“He said ‘You have time to leave, you can stay a little bit more’. Of course, when the president says that to you, that counts.”
