Former Liverpool and English defender Jamie Carragher has revealed what Lionel Messi told him following his shock move to Paris Saint Germain last summer.

He claimed that the Argentine captain called him a donkey, but why will Messi say such a thing?

Lionel Messi is one of the most respectful players in the world and he has been doing that on and off the pitch over the past years. We’ll be looking at what Lionel Messi said and the reason why he said so.

Lionel Messi Called Jamie Carragher A Donkey

Lionel Messi will never walk to any person or professional player and calls him/her a donkey. It’s a little bit disrespectful, but I think that Lionel Messi did that because Jamie Carragher also disrespected him.

Lionel Messi made a move to Paris Saint Germain after the world best winner failed to sign a new contract with Barcelona. He agreed everything with the club, on a new deal, but things didn’t work as planned.

Lionel Messi had no other choice than to leave the club because the Barcelona president told him that he has tried everything he could, but the La Liga president disagreed so Lionel Messi couldn’t renew his contract.

Despite that the forward agreed to take a pay-cut at the club, the deal still failed to go through and Paris Saint Germain came in for him after Barcelona made an official announcement about hid departure.

Many clubs showed interest in signing him, but his former teammate Neymar Jr called him and he wants him to join him at Paris Saint Germain. He also insisted to offer Lionel Messi the number 10 shirt, but Lionel Messi refused.

Lionel Messi had to pick his first jersey number at Barcelona, he wore the number 30 shirt. Lionel Messi has been dragged by so many legends and his doubters after a move away from Barcelona.

Some of the fans thought that he could play for free, including the Barcelona president, but Lionel Messi claimed that he didn’t tell him anything about playing for free.

Jamie Carragher Called For Messi’s Attention

The former Liverpool defender told the media that he didn’t think that Lionel Messi was a great signing for Paris Saint Germain, why did he say so?

Lionel Messi joined the club and he is trying to settle down with his family in the country, but the Liverpool legend called for his attention as he said that he was not a good signing for the French side.

As a legend who is well known, I don’t think that he should say such a thing to a player like Lionel Messi. The former Barcelona captain doesn’t hesitate to call him a donkey through private message on Instagram.

Jamie Carragher said that he won’t be showing the private message, but Lionel Messi called him a donkey. Will you be blaming the Argentine forward for this? I don’t think so because Jamie called for his attention.

Let’s wait and see what Lionel Messi will say about the recent secret revealed by the former Liverpool defender.
