Lionel Messi, Neymar or Kylian Mbappe is expected to sit on the bench in new PSG formation – report.
In order to adopt a different method, Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier is thinking about benching one of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, or Lionel Messi.
Since he took over in the summer, Galtier has adopted a 3-4-3 system, which was incredibly successful in the first few games of the season.
Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar, also known as “MNM,” have all flourished in the system and have combined to score a staggering 41 goals.
However, PSG has started to give up goals, and on Wednesday in the Champions League, they fell behind to Maccabi Haifa.
L’Equipe claims that Galtier is aware of this weakness and may substitute one of his front three for a forward who is more eager to push and track back or an extra midfielder.

Teams have started to pounce on the gaps between the star-studded trio and PSG’s wing-backs, which could result in penalties in Europe’s top league.
Galtier is aware that the team of Vitinha and Marco Verratti may be outnumbered in the middle of the park.
Galtier is rumored to be privately doubting PSG’s ability to win the Champions League if Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar all start the game together.
In Israel, Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar all scored goals to help PSG maintain its perfect record in the Champions League this season.
Given the outcomes of the teams around them, PSG is in first place in Group H and is expected to win the group. Juventus and Maccabi each have zero points, while Benfica and other top teams are tied on six.
In his post-game interview, Galtier commented on his attack’s problems and talked about how his team played.
“It’s not so much that the attacking three didn’t defend much,” he clarified. The three of them were fairly high compared to the low team block.
They were trying to recover the ball as quickly as they could, but there was a lot of room created behind them.
We were significantly outnumbered in the center. We began to better counter Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar’s balls as soon as they retreated lower in the team block.
“After that, we improved our ability to project ourselves offensively and were able to win the ball in crucial situations.
“It wasn’t a matter of malice; rather, it was a poor assessment of the pressure on our midfielders by our offensive three.
We were able to retrieve the ball where it was needed as soon as Neymar was switched to the left side at halftime, giving us a more fascinating balance.
