Lionel Messi scored an insane goal for Paris Saint-Germain against Benfica.

To start the scoring against Benfica on the road, Lionel Messi scored an incredible goal following a fluid Paris Saint-Germain team play combining Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

To give Paris Saint-Germain the lead in their Champions League match against Benfica on Wednesday night, Lionel Messi struck an incredible goal.

Benfica started the stronger, but the Argentine finished superbly with a curling shot to complete a fluid team move from Les Parisiens. Both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar were a part of the move, and it was Messi who provided the incredible finish thanks to their excellent link-up play.

It was a superb team move by PSG as Christophe Galtier’s side hoped to continue their 100 per cent winning record in the group stage, having already defeated Juventus and Maccabi Haifa this campaign. However, Portuguese giants Benfica were their toughest test of the season to date.
