Liverpool received a boost in the pursuit of Real Madrid and Manchester United €150 million target Bellingham.
Real Madrid reportedly won’t meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price, giving Liverpool an advantage in their pursuit of Jude Bellingham.
Nearly every European giant has Bellingham on their wish list, and this season, he is showing them why.
Bellingham has five appearances in the Champions League and has four goals and one assist.
Despite the club’s ownership by Fenway Sports Group being unclear, the Reds are still being linked to a move for the 19-year-old.
Bellingham will reportedly be for sale by Dortmund in the summer for a price of about €150 million.
SPORT reports that Real Madrid will be “unwilling” to match that asking price and will instead try to sign the young star for somewhere around €100 million.
Manchester United are also interested in signing the England international after they failed to sign him from Birmingham City. It’s an open situation as a lot of clubs are interested.
Has Bellingham’s situation been brought up by Dortmund?
The CEO of Dortmund said, “I believe as soon as Qatar is over. We’ll talk about what he actually wants in general.
“With him, with his parents, who we get along with very well. Of course, he also had a consultant. And after that, he should just tell us whether he wants to stay or go. We will engage in a cordial conversation with each other in both situations.
“However, we don’t have to act as though the issue isn’t a concern. Financial conflict is not something we can afford if the really big clubs are involved.
