Manchester United 1-1 Leicester City

Manchester United 1-1 Leicester City: Ralf Rangnick’s Red shared the points at Old Trafford as Arsenal received a boost in top four race.

1. Diogo Dalot – Good

The Portuguese right-back regained his starting spot in the Manchester United XI against Leicester City tonight. He did extremely well and he deserves the credit.

2. Harry Maguire – Excellent

While in action for his country on international duty, his own supporters booed him anytime he touches the ball and it’s not a good decision making.

The reception at Old Trafford tonight was different and he enjoyed his football once again. He had a good game against Leicester City tonight.

3. Raphael Varane – Good

The French defender did extremely well against Leicester City tonight. He was the main man distributing passes to the left flank.

He deserves some credit for his performance against Leicester City tonight. He is a top player and a good leader.

4. Fred Rodriguez – Solid

Fred had a good game at Old Trafford tonight and he scored the only goal for Manchester United. He remains an important player in the squad.

Manchester United 1-1 Leicester City (Analysis)

I think that Ralf Rangnick couldn’t get all the three points because of the absence of Ronaldo and Cavani.

He started the game without a forward with Bruno Fernandes playing as false nine. He didn’t settle down. He was running down the wings.

Manchester United could have done better with Cristiano Ronaldo. I think that’s the main reason why they didn’t get a goal in the first half.

Luckily Fred Rodriguez scored a rebound in the second half. If not, the game could have ended in a defeat for the Reds.

Leicester City masterclass

Leicester City’s performance shouldn’t go unnoticed. The team dominated the game and I think that they are hunted by bad luck after their last goal was cancelled.
