He is not expected to transfer in January, but he might do so when the season is over. Ben Foster, a former United goalkeeper, believes Bellingham would be happier at United than City because he would love being “the main man” there.
He said that if the teen moved to the Etihad, he would “fade.” He said: “For me personally, I would love to see him move to Manchester United,” in a video posted to his YouTube page.
“I believe he would prosper and enjoy himself more at Manchester United, where he would have more responsibilities. I believe he is aware that he is the key player.
I’m concerned that if he joined a team like Man City, he might wind up more or less like Jack Grealish. He would merely lose steam at Manchester City. He would succeed at Manchester United, and I would love to see him there.
