Marcus Rashford abused by a 19-year-old man after he missed a penalty during the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
The three lions proceeded to the Euro 2020 final with hope of bringing the trophy home, but it couldn’t happen as Italy took it to Rome.
A teenager has received a jail sentence after sending out racist tweets to Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford, following a penalty missed in the final.

The 19-year-old man known as Justin Lee Price sent a directed message to MBE Marcus Rashford after the penalty shoot-out.
An investigation was launched immediately after the tweet by Lee Price, but the 19 yo changes his username in an attempt to avoid detection.
Police invited Lee Price for an interview
Justin Price Lee was invited to the police custody for an interview, he denied that he wasn’t the one who made the tweet as he had nothing to do with it.
He went home and his mother convinced him to tell her the truth and he agrees with her. Lee Price was 18 when the incident occurred online.
Lee Price was invited for the second time for an interview and he admitted that he was the one, who tweeted the racist language online.
He was the one who called the officers to arrange a second interview before he made his confession.
His solicitor also claimed that public media coverage of the incident has left him traumatised, revealing: He lost weight and shows sign of mild depression.
Marcus Rashford Abused
Teenagers and adults have taken the view that it’s a licence to send abusive messages to top players while hiding behind a social media profile, saying things that they’d never say in person to them.
As reported, Mr Strongman has stated that Lee Price’s jail term has been reduced because he pleaded guilty, but the sentence couldn’t be suspended due to the racist nature of the incident.
Justin Lee Price has also been ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and has received a restraining order which prevents him from having any contact in person or on social media with Marcus Rashford for 5 years.
How Justin Lee Price tweets on social media?
He posted the tweet on July 11 last year when he was aged 18. It read: “@SzzOGz @MarcusRashford YOU F****** STUPID ****** MISSING A FREE PEN MY DEAD NAN COULD HAVE SCORED THAT”, according to a CPS official.
