Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea lost the Carabao Cup trophy to Liverpool on Sunday night and I think that the blues had the chance to win the game.
Despite that Liverpool dominated the game in the first half and the second half of the game, Chelsea got some golden chances to take the lead, but couldn’t make use of the ball.
It’s a wrong decision making by starting Mason Mount ahead of Timo Werner. His decision making in the final third is unacceptable and it could cause Chelsea this season.
Most of the blame goes to Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa because he missed the penalty, but we are not talking about the golden chances missed by Mason Mount.
The English midfielder could have decided the game before the final whistle, but he failed. Mason Mount received a lovely pass inside the box, but couldn’t get a goal.
He also hits the woodwork against Liverpool, he was hunted by bad luck or he doesn’t know how to score goals?
