Neymar Jr On Nearly Rejoining Barcelona In 2019, What Really Happened?

Neymar Jr left Barcelona after winning the treble with the club. The Brazilian winger did extremely well in the Spanish league. He decided to join Paris Saint Germain after a successful career in Spain.

It was reported that the Brazilian winger was convinced by people around him and the feeling was that, he won’t win any individual awards, while playing with Lionel Messi.

He told the club that he wants to leave and Barcelona reached an agreement with Paris Saint Germain in the summer.

After he spent more than one season in the league, he wants to return back to Barcelona, but the deal couldn’t go through.

Neymar Jr faced the media ahead of the upcoming game and he opened up on his move back to Barcelona in 2019.

“I tried everything to return back to Barcelona, but it wasn’t possible. We tried everything.

Neymar’s intension was to return back to Spain, but the deal didn’t go through as Paris Saint Germain declined Barcelona’s offer.

The French club completed the signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona last summer and the main reason why the Argentine forward joined the club, is because of Neymar Jr.

Both players are good friends and they understand each other.
