Neymar offered Real Madrid transfer by Casemiro as PSG ‘look to offload £600k-a-week former Barcelona star’.
Brazil teammate Casemiro has offered NEYMAR the chance to play for Real Madrid.
According to recent reports, the 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward has reportedly activated a clause in his contract that will keep him with the Ligue 1 team through 2027.
Neymar currently earns £31 million a year, so that would mean the French champions would have to pay him an additional £155 million over the course of the next five years.
According to rumors, PSG wants to get rid of him this summer because he makes £600k a week.
They reportedly want to find a buyer who will accept the sizable financial package from South America.
And Casemiro, a midfielder for Real Madrid who competes for Brazil alongside Neymar, has sparked talk of a transfer to the Bernabeu.
He stated on SporTV’s Circulo Grande program about Neymar’s future: “Neymar can play for any team in the world.
“Real Madrid wants him if PSG doesn’t. Okay?”
Given that Neymar spent four years with Spanish rivals Barcelona, a move to Real would be contentious.
Madrid has been linked to Neymar after the LaLiga champions failed to sign Kylian Mbappe, a fellow PSG star.
Neymar has also been mentioned in connection with a transfer to Chelsea.
He was coached by Blues manager Thomas Tuchel at PSG, where in 67 appearances, he contributed 32 assists and 51 goals.
Thiago Silva, a center back for the Blues, is eager to visit Stamford Bridge and catch up with his Brazilian teammate and friend.
He stated: “Neymar must travel to Chelsea. It will be for the best if it does happen.
“He doesn’t require any further commentary. Additionally, he is a great friend.
“I don’t know anything yet, but I hope it works out,” the speaker said.
