Official: Barcelona squad to face Sevilla tomorrow with the arrival of Hector Bellerin and Marcos Alonso.
Now that the transfer window is officially closed, the players can concentrate on their teams, to use Xavi’s phrase. For the first time in a very long time, the 23-man squad list for tomorrow’s match between Sevilla and Barcelona has no major surprises.
However, Hector Bellerin and Marcos Alonso were both disqualified for not being match-ready. Although they took part in preseason activities with Arsenal and Chelsea, respectively, they have not yet played in a competitive match.
All of Barcelona’s “unwanted” players have left after the departures of Martin Braithwaite, Sergio Dest, and Samuel Umtiti. Everyone on the first team, with the exception of Bellerin and Alonso, is a member of the squad.
However, Alejandro Balde, Gavi, and Inaki Pena are still a part of Barcelona Atletic and are about to be officially added to the first team.

After departing, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the #17 jersey available for pickup. Dest’s #2, Umtiti’s #23, Braithwaite’s #12, Neto’s #13, and Puig’s #6 are all comparable.
After protracted transfer sagas, Memphis Depay and Frenkie de Jong are still with the team and are still wearing the #14 and #21 jerseys, respectively.
