The Manchester City manager has praised Karim Benzema ahead of the game, but not because of his recent form. He claimed that the French forward have been playing at the highest level over the past 10 years.
Guardiola: “Karim Benzema is exceptional, not just because he is doing now, but what he has done for these past 10 years plus. His career is what I like the most, it’s phenomenal. Karim Benzema not only goals, he’s fantastic around all players.”
Karim Benzema is living the dream this season and he could end up winning his first ever Ballon D’Or award.
A lot of players have tipped him to win the prestigious award, but he will face competition from the likes of Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah.
