Today in Perth, Australia, during a rainy preseason friendly, Manchester United and Aston Villa drew 2-2. Here are the game’s user ratings:

(A 6 is considered to be about average.)

5 David de Gea Had little to do in the first half; in the second, there was some flapping at corners and crosses, and the second goal was poor.

Diogo Dalot 7.5 – Although the weather probably prevented him from matching his excellent performance against Palace, he is now truly appearing to be the finished product.

7 Harry Maguire Bailey had a great goal-line clearance, made some good interceptions, and had a good shot on goal, but his passing was occasionally wasteful.

David Lindelof 4.5 – Bailey beat the first Villa goal with ease after a slightly errant backpass in the first half.

6 Luke Shaw Shaw made a fantastic run that helped to set up the first goal and expertly located Sancho. For the first Villa goal, he was slow to recover, and for the second, he appeared disinterested.

Donny van de Beek 3, who blew a great opportunity to stake his claim to a starting position. simply didn’t seem to have any effect on the game.

In less than ideal circumstances for Brazilian football, Fred/strong> 6 played a fantastic pass over the top for Sancho in the buildup to the second goal. At the beginning of the second, a pickpocketing attempt nearly resulted in an Ollie Watkins goal.

6 – Bruno Fernandes was a part of many of United’s best performances, but was also occasionally quite wasteful. It appears that he needs a few goals, though, to restore his confidence to its peak state.

Jeremy Sancho 8.5 – Sancho put on another outstanding performance in difficult circumstances with a goal and an assist. Now really taking off.

(7) Marcus Rashford He appears to be regaining his best form, but not quite there yet. was there to achieve the goal, but there was a bit of luck involved.

Seven Anthony Martial played well, but I couldn’t match the fire I had in the first three games. Again, the unfavorable circumstances do not aid players with technical prowess like Martial.

Substitutes

5 for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. It’s unfortunate to see the Spider’s decline. Possibly be marketed or even lent this summer.

7 Eric Bailly A successful run for Eric.

Raphael Varane earned a score of 6.5.

Theodore Malacia 7.5 – Against a player who was tearing Shaw and Lindelof apart, I brought him on and kept him quiet. made some strong forward runs as well.

Alex Telles, who played the unfamiliar number 6, performed admirably.

Van de Beek gets a major upgrade with James Garner 7.

Zidane Iqbal 7 – The skillful midfielder put on another polished performance.

Hannibal Mejbri 6: Fairly well-done.

6 Anthony Elanga – Calm

Tahith Chong 5 – Has some nice skills, but she will soon become wasteful and greedy.
