Real Madrid €60 million target confirmed that he will be at the club at the end of the month amid Chelsea interest.
According to UOL Esporte, the father of Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick Felipe has confirmed that the teenager and his family will be paving a visit to Real Madrid’s training facilities at the end of this month.
The 16-year-old striker has emerged as one of the hottest young prospects in the game, with clubs like Chelsea, PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid taking an interest in the teenage sensation.
Recent reports indicated that Chelsea had emerged as frontrunners to sign Endrick after the striker’s camp had visited their training facilities where he had interacted with Brazilian legend Thiago Silva.
The youngster and his family will visit Real Madrid’s facilities at the end of this month, and then they will inform Los Blancos of their decision on their son’s choice, according to Endrick Ramos’ father, Douglas Ramos, who has now confirmed it.
Real Madrid will wait for a response from us following the discussions in Madrid before deciding whether to travel to Sao Paulo and make an offer to Palmeiras, he said.
When Endrick turned 16 in July of this year, he signed his first professional contract with Palmeiras. Although reports claimed that a deal could be reached for a fee of about €35–40 million, the agreement includes a release clause worth €60 million.
Even though negotiations may start soon and a deal may be completed soon, Endrick won’t move to Europe until 2024, when he turns 18 years old.
The 18-year-old will visit Real Madrid later this month, and the club will try to use the trip as much as possible to persuade him to sign with them.
