Real Madrid has sent an executive to finalise the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, with other European clubs interested in him.
In their pursuit of Endrick Felipe of Palmeiras, Real Madrid appears to have upped the ante. According to MARCA, Los Blancos have already dispatched a representative to Brazil to conduct talks with the club for teenagers in order to close the deal as soon as possible.
Real Madrid and several other elite clubs in Europe have been keeping an eye on the 16-year-old for a while now. But Los Blancos appear to have made a significant move to seal the deal.
The original plan was to wait until 2023 to sign him, but Real Madrid moved quickly as PSG increased their interest in the young striker.
In spite of the fact that Los Blancos will have to wait two more years for Endrick to join the team, they have already dispatched a representative to negotiate a transfer with Palmeiras.
When Endrick turned 16 in July of last year, he signed his first professional contract with the Brazilian team. Although the report claims that Palmeiras and the player have an agreement to sell for €35–40 million, it is believed to contain a €60 million release clause.
Real Madrid is aware that spending this much money on a 16-year-old player would be a risky move, but they are willing to take a chance after doing so in the past with players like Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes, and Reinier Jesus.
According to the report, Endrick’s family wants him to play for Real Madrid, and he is said to look up to players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Vinicius Jr., which may also work in the Merengues’ favor.
The next few days could be crucial for Real Madrid’s pursuit of Endrick since a club executive is already in Brazil to hold negotiations.
