Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign €60 million Juventus midfield target. Next summer, Real Madrid has many players on their radar as they attempt to bolster their midfield.
Jude Bellingham, a young player from Borussia Dortmund, is the main target for Los Blancos. But they might be forced to look elsewhere due to his market value and the competition for his services.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio is one name that is now being bandied about as a potential Real Madrid candidate.
The 27-year-transfer old’s to the Santiago Bernabeu has already been mentioned frequently. However, the deal never happened because Lazio valued its mainstay in the middle of the field at €100 million.
The Italian capital club’s deal with Milinkovic-Savic, though, is set to end in 2024. And as things are, he hasn’t demonstrated any desire to agree to a new contract. Additionally, an exit appears likely given that he will soon begin the final year of his contract.
Additionally, Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, Mateja Kezman, is pitching his client to a number of elite clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid, according to Corriere dello Sport (h/t SPORT).
According to the rumor, Kezman may soon meet with the team in Madrid to discuss the midfielder’s predicament and gauge their interest in acquiring Milinkovic-Savic.
As previously established, Bellingham is Real Madrid’s top target as they search for a new midfielder. If they don’t get the England international, the Merengues have Youri Tielemans of Leicester City as a backup.
Milinkovic-Savic can therefore be a possibility for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, although he is not currently viewed as a top priority. And given the current circumstances, Real Madrid would be unlikely to match his assessment of €60 million.
Real Madrid might think about making a bid if Lazio drops their asking price for the Serbian international, but Juventus will be a strong rival.
The 27-year-old’s interest in the Bianconeri is far more serious than that of Real Madrid, and there is a strong likelihood that the midfielder will end up in Turin next summer unless he actively pursues a transfer to the Spanish capital and drives down Lazio’s asking price.
