Real Madrid Injury Update: Karim Benzema likely to be ruled out of the game against Getafe.
Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make his selection with the French veteran against Getafe this week. Karim Benzema has done extremely in the past few games, but he will not be available for selection in the next game.
Karim Benzema was not spotted with the team, training this morning. He returned back from injury not long ago, but he will be out again. Though there’s a lot of options for Carlo up front.
The Real Madrid captain won’t play in Saturday’s away game against Getafe because Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching team wanted to rest him and limit his playing time.
When Real Madrid visits Shakhtar next Tuesday, Benzema will be rested and prepared because he did not exercise with the team this Friday.

It is also not in doubt that Benzema will play when Real Madrid hosts Barceona in the inaugural El Clasico of the season. Benzema is being kept as fresh and prepared as possible by Ancelotti and his crew throughout this hectic October.
This Saturday, Rodrygo will almost surely start in place of Benzema, with Valverde presumably lining up on the right side of the offensive line. If Ancelotti chooses to give Eduardo Camavinga an opportunity to play in the starting XI, Luka Modric might return to the starting lineup while Toni Kroos might be the one sitting on the bench.
