Real Madrid joined Barcelona and Liverpool in the race to sign Dortmund star, who is out of contract next summer.
Endrick, a wonderkid for Palmeiras, is already attracting the attention of Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Borussia Dortmund star Youssoufa Moukoko, though, appears to be another transfer target for the two La Liga heavyweights.
Barcelona has reportedly entered the competition to recruit the 17-year-old prodigy, who is also being sought after by Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Liverpool, according to SPORT.
Particularly in the current season, during which he has scored three goals and assisted four more for his teammates from 15 appearances, Moukoko has emerged as one of the most promising young players in the German Bundesliga.
The 17-year-old, who plays on a regular basis for the German Under-21 national team, has six goals in five games.
The current Borussia Dortmund contract for Moukoko is set to expire in the summer of 2023. Numerous clubs are interested in signing the young sensation as a result, with Real Madrid being one among them.
Iker Bravo, a promising forward from Bayer Leverkusen, was acquired by Los Blancos in a summer transfer raid from the Bundesliga. And they hope to repeat the feat by signing Moukoko after his deal with Dortmund expires.
Karim Benzema doesn’t have a natural replacement at the No. 9 position, thus the current European and Spanish champions can sign and develop Moukoko. He has played more than 50 games for Dortmund, thus despite his youth, he has some experience at the top level.
Real Madrid will struggle because of opposition from teams like Liverpool, Barcelona, and PSG.
According to the report, Liverpool might be in the strongest position to acquire Moukoko given the presence of former Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp. Los Merengues will have their work cut out for them if they want to sign the 17-year-old striker, since Barcelona has now entered the picture as well.
