Real Madrid legend Isco joined La Liga rival after his was released by Real Madrid, with Marcelo yet to find a new club.

The club declined to extend the Spanish international’s contract, and he left the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in June.

Isco, although having just a minor role under Carlo Ancelotti in 2021–2022, became a free agent this summer after ending nine trophy-filled years in the Spanish city.

Along with interest from Sevilla’s regional rivals, Real Betis, the former Malaga schemer was also mentioned in connection with a possible transfer to Italy’s Serie A.

In an effort to resurrect his career in 2022–2023, the 30-year-old has now decided to accept a move closer to Benalmadena, to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Isco, who has been exercising by himself in Madrid for the past month, is expected to make his club debut for Sevilla against Osasuna on August 12 under the terms of the deal, which runs until 2024.

Former Real Madrid captain Marcelo is still exploring options as he want to play in Europe this season. He believe that he can still play at the highest level.
