Real Madrid player driven to add Super Cup to outstanding resume: “We will accomplish everything we can”
Even though Vinicius Jr. had been a part of Real Madrid’s teams before, last season marked the transition of the super sub and rotation option to a key player and true starter.
The young player will be participating in the UEFA Super Cup this weekend as a result of Carlo Ancelotti’s excellent Champions League and La Liga double.
The Brazilian responded with the same enthusiasm he displayed on the field when the UEFA website asked him about how he and his team would approach the UEFA Super Cup:
“Winning as many games as you can is crucial, especially if you want to take home prizes like the UEFA Super Cup. We will exert every effort to take home the season’s first trophy, the winger declared.
The footballing world can’t wait to watch Los Blancos this season, especially the Brazilian talent, and they’ll be licking their lips after their opponents, Eintracht Frankfurt, were destroyed by Bayern Munich in the opening Bundesliga game.
