Real Madrid received a big boost ahead of the tomorrow’s game against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Kostic close to a move to Juventus.
Numerous reports from Germany and Italy state that Filip Kostic’s transfer to Juventus is finalized.
According to Romeo Agresti of Goal.com and Sky Sports Deutschland, the 29-year-old is expected to sign with the Bianconeri for €16–17 million, plus add-ons.
The Serie A powerhouses and the Serbian international have already reached a personal agreement. He will arrive in Turin today. Tomorrow is when he should have his Bianconeri medical.
The Serbian will play in Juventus’ Serie A debut against Sassuolo on Monday, August 15, after agreeing to a three-year, €3.5 million per season contract.
Last Saturday, Kostic played 74 minutes in Eintracht Frankfurt’s opening Bundesliga game of the year against Bayern Munich before saying goodbye to the crowd.
He scored 33 goals and delivered 64 assists in 171 games with the Bundesliga side winning the Europa League last season.
