Real Madrid travelling squad to Germany ahead of the UCL game against RB Leipzig, as Benzema and Federico Valverde ruled out.
When Real Madrid plays RB Leipzig in the middle of the week, they will be attempting to clinch first place in Group F of the UEFA Champions League.
The defending European champions have made their roster official for the trip to Leipzig, which is dealing with the loss of owner Dietrich Mateschitz earlier today.
Karim Benzema is not a member of the Real Madrid squad since he was unable to play against Sevilla over the weekend due to physical exhaustion. He is expected to be sidelined once more, but Carlo Ancelotti has plenty of options in the form of youthful players Alvaro Rodriguez, Vinicius Junior, and Eden Hazard.
Federico Valverde, who sustained a slight concussion following the match against Sevilla, is another notable absence. As Ancelotti maintains one eye on the Girona match later this week, he has likely been resting.
Sergio Arribas is a major addition to the team, in addition to Alvaro, the teenager. The playmaker, who is widely considered as one of the best La Fabrica academy graduates, is looking to get his big break this week, especially with Valverde out injured.

Luka Modric has been ruled out of the game against RB Leipzig and he couldn’t travel with the squad to Germany.
