Real Madrid’s hero Antonio Rudiger availability for the El Clasico confirmed after Champions League masterclass.
Antonio Rudiger puts his body on the line just to score the equalizer for Real Madrid last night. He gave everything for the team and the club and the fans are proud of him.
As per multiple reports, it’s nothing serious and he is doing fine, but will the injury question his availability against Barcelona? Real Madrid next game is Barcelona and the fans would love to see him in action.
After colliding with Shakhtar’s goalie on the very last play of Tuesday’s 1-1 Champions League tie, Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger did not sustain any type of skull fracture, the club informed the media on Wednesday morning.
Given that he needed 20 stitches to stem the bleeding, Rudiger is still questionable for Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona because the location on his face is still delicate. Rudiger would need to put on a face mask to shield the region if he were to be available and play, like he did last year.
Rudiger will probably miss El Clasico because Eder Militao and David Alaba appear to be ahead of him in the rotation at the moment. If the starting trio or Ferland Mendy were to get injured during the match, Nacho Fernandez would come off the bench as the first center-back.
