Richarlison scored the game-winning goal against Serbia in Brazil’s World Cup opener to double their advantage.
In the 62nd minute, the Spurs striker opened the scoring by stabbing in after Vanja Milinkovic-Savic could only parry Vinicius Jr.’s effort into his path.
In the 73rd minute, Richarlison scored his second goal, a strike that embodied the flair of Brazilian soccer. The No. 9 player for the Selecao laid on an outrageous outside of the boot assist from the left, and he displayed excellent ball control.
He produced the most outrageous acrobatic effort while the ball was spinning in the air, flying past Milinkovic-Savic and eliciting gasps from everyone in the Lusail Stadium.
The former Everton player is unquestionably in the lead for the best goal of the 2022 World Cup. He was unable to complete his hat trick, however, because manager Tite decided to switch him out for Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus.
Richarlison recently stated that he hopes to emulate Ronaldinho when he retires from the game and currently has nine goals in his last seven matches for Brazil. He also has the same number of World Cup goals as the legendary Ronaldinho.

According to UOL, the 25-year-old said in a conversation with journalist Isa Pagliari for RonaldoTV, “I’m going to buy an island and be alone with a bunch of women, just like that picture of Ronaldinho.”
It’s a joke; it’s all in your head.
He was doing the traditional R9 finger wag celebration, but he was also channeling his inner Ronaldo Nazario.
Brazil struggled to find their rhythm in their tournament debut, but the five-time World Cup champions got things going with a victory that puts them in first place in Group G after the first day of play.
Before playing Cameroon on Friday, 2 December, they are back in action on Monday against Switzerland.
