Rodrygo revealed what he think before coming on
Rodrygo: “What did I think when Ancelotti told me to come on? That I could change history again, help my team. But they scored a goal and we were dead, I can say so. Then, in the 89th minute, my first goal lifted us.”
Karim Benzema’s gesture?
The French forward offered Rodrygo the penalty to complete his hat-trick against Manchester City, but the Brazilian declined and let the captain convert it.
“Very few believed in a miracle? Yes, it’s true. It seemed impossible. I thought we were already out but after the first goal I started to believe a little more. Although I didn’t even have time to believe much because then I already scored the 2nd.”
Rodrygo: “I’m very happy to always be able to help my team in some way in the CL. Things always go well for me in this competition. I hope it continues like this and that in Paris I can also help the team in some way and we can win the CL.”
